![]() ![]() Strowman plowing through the time keeper barricade or Owens splashing Reigns through the announce desk were the obvious two. Whenever a WWE camera crew came by our section and stood behind the time keeper we knew right away that there going to be some sort of big spot. My assumption is that since they’re next to the stage and there are no lights on them nor are they sitting at ringside with a camera or crowd watching them, the Raw team or Saxton can sit back and relax more. Once in awhile I’d peak over to the Raw announce desk – and while it came across like Corey Graves was into what was going on and Michael Cole was focused on calling the matches, Byron Saxton leaned back in his chair and slouched most of the time and it came across like he didn’t care about what was going on and was going through the motions. A return date to Pittsburgh was announced for Tuesday March 14 th, when WWE brings Smackdown Live to PPG Paints Arena. The Seth Rollins appearance at the end and the Shield mini-reunion got a good reaction and crowd did seem satisfied with the ending of Reigns and Rollins power bombing Jericho and Owens through the announce tables. The live crowd did cheer when Jericho hit the Codebreaker on Owens and were pretty happy to see both hug it out and be friends again. People were into the match and knew that Jericho was going to come out and interfere. Owens got a good reaction and was cheered at times. Roman Reigns: The boos were loud for Reigns and WWE clearly turned up the volume on his entrance music to try and drown it out, but it wasn’t quite as bad as I thought it would be. ![]() I also hope this is the end of all the trading back-and-forth with the title and both ladies can move on to new feuds. Charlotte is so much better to watch in-person and I feel is far superior to Sasha when it comes to wrestling and mic work. The match itself was great to witness in-person and its amazing how small Sasha looks and how big and tall Charlotte is. Charlotte received a ton of heat throughout the match. Dueling chants of ‘Let’s go Sasha’ and ‘Let’s go Charlotte’ and it was clear that the crowd was into Sasha. Charlotte: The crowd was into both women and enjoyed the entire match. Why cheer or boo when you can’t connect with any of the wrestlers on any level outside of the highspots? The crowd was more into what came after with Neville than the actual match – which says a lot about how the audience views the cruiserweights since the end of CWC. Brian Kendrick: Decent cruiserweight match, but the crowd didn’t seem to care. Expected finish with Rollins winning, but a match between these should have had more at stake then just Rollins getting his revenge. To formulaic and it seemed like they never got out of second gear. Chris Jericho: Outside of the usual chants for Jericho and Rollins, the crowd just wasn’t into what was going on between them. ![]() Braun Strowman: The live crowd just didn’t get into this match and while they were happy to see Sami survive the full ten minutes with Strowman, they just didn’t buy into the notion that Sami was going to have his career end nor the story they were trying to tell with Mick Foley, Sami and Strowman. The crowd definitely got into the near falls during the latter part of the match and was very pleased with Cesaro and Sheamus winning the titles. Cesaro and Sheamus: Crowd liked New Day and also liked the “odd couple” in Cesaro and Sheamus and as the match progressed the energy from the crowd got better which made the match itself more enjoyable. Decent match in my eyes and Cass continues to improve, but still has a long way to go. Rusev: Crowd was into Enzo and Cass and it was quite fun to hear the crowd follow along with the introductions and chants also Lana and Rusev received good heat, but, as expected, the crowd did not like the count out finish. My Dad and I sat three rows back of the time keeper area and there were a few empty rows to our right where the ringside announce desks was. There were quite a few empty seats on the floor section. SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN).Įstimated Attendance: The entire lower bowl was about 80% full, excluding the tarps for the camera side, and the upper level and luxury boxes were full as well. ![]()

![]() Better still, you can apply Live’s Groove Templates to clips and hear the results in real-time. Any changes you make in Liquid Rhythm are dynamically updated in the Live clip. It sits in series before a Drum Rack, which means events within the currently selected clip (including kit piece names from the Drum Rack) appear in Liquid Rhythm’s Arrangement canvas. I really started to hit my stride with Liquid Rhythm when using it as a Max4Live MIDI effect. And a drag’n’drop style MIDI export function is provided for arranging patterns you create within DAW tracks. This can aid in finessing the results of randomly-spawned patterns. Of course, if you want to manually sculpt your beats, you can engage Drawing or Painting mode to insert notes or BeatForms directly on the canvas. All the parameters can be MIDI mapped for mouse-free interaction. If your beat’s still lacking magic, Molecule Tools can add randomisation and dynamic accent/groove functions via the Randomizer, GrooveMover, Accent Mods, BeatForm Palette, BeatForm Tumbler, and BeatForm Shifter. And the Maps present palettes of 256 BeatForms/BarForms, organised by increasing complexity, that may be dragged onto the canvas. The BeatWeaver basically lets you dial in (with a pot) the complexity of each BeatForm, while keeping the others in the measure locked in. Once you’ve selected a ballpark BarForm, you can use the BeatForm Sequencer to add, subtract or replace note clusters in the current measure.ĭelving further into this new mode of beat-making, you can also use the BeatWeaver and circular BarForm/BeatForm Maps to construct beats. The selected instrument type determines the initial palette of suggested BarForms. When opened as a plug-in, Liquid Rhythm’s Library appears on the left the Arranger, Mixing panel, and Molecule Tools down the centre and the Beat Builder to the right.Īfter loading a kit from the Library, you create beats by clicking on an empty measure on the Arranger canvas and selecting a BarForm from the Beat Builder. Liquid Rhythm is best considered a specialised sequencer for the other drum instruments in your DAW. ![]() It’s possible to build kits from scratch using your own drum samples, however don’t expect more than a basic multi-sample player since there are no synthesis functions. ![]() The Library also contains 769 loops, which may serve as an easy starting point for beginners. ![]() A mere four drum kits are preloaded (expandable to 12 via free download), built from 200+ instruments comprising velocity switched multi-samples. It’s clear the sample player is not the focus here. Both modes include a built-in drum sample player, but when opened as a Max4Live device it only displays the sequencer, relying on the user to insert a Drum Rack after it to provide sounds - a preferable option for anyone using their own drum kits. Liquid Rhythm can be invoked as a standalone instrument or DAW plug-in (AU/VST/RTAS). It’s all based around WaveDNA’s Molecule system, which presents MIDI in a whole new way. WaveDNA’s Liquid Rhythm is a rhythm sequencer that - rather than plotting in individual notes into a piano roll or sequencer - cheats for you and puts in note clusters. ![]() Although I’ve developed dexterous finger drumming skills over the years, beat composition tools have become a gateway to more exotic grooves I’d never play habitually. ![]() ![]() ![]() Sit-in walkers can give young babies mobility before they’re ready. These are the walkers that babies sit inside and that have four wheels on the base. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) reports that thousands of babies are injured each year using sit-in walkers. ![]() The key word you should look for while shopping for your baby is “push walker” or “push toy.” These are walkers where the baby or toddler walks behind it versus inside it. This is because not all walkers are necessarily considered safe. You’ll quickly notice that there are no sit-in baby walkers on this list. Older models may have been recalled or have other safety issues, like broken parts. Otherwise, it’s a good idea to purchase your push walker new.
![]() ![]() Instead, the commission reinforced calls for centralized management and storage. In 2013, President Obama’s Blue Ribbon Commission provided an opportunity to clean the slate and inspire new innovative solutions. ![]() The law mandated that DOE take ownership and management responsibility for all commercial spent nuclear fuel, and effectively foreclosed all solutions other than geologic storage. In the years since Congress designated Yucca Mountain the sole repository site, nuclear waste has become a toxic political issue. The modern approach to spent fuel management in the United States began with the Nuclear Waste Policy Act of 1982, which further centralized federal control and narrowed back-end technology options. This policy has since expired and has not been renewed, but it set a non-legally binding precedent that the implicit policy of the United States is to not reprocess spent fuel. In short, spent fuel could be reprocessed the unburned uranium and plutonium would be recycled to fuel breeder reactors, thus significantly limiting the remaining fission products, or “waste,” that required disposal. But as concerns over perceived proliferation risks grew in the 1970s, plans to develop a national reprocessing capability were “indefinitely” deferred by the Carter Administration. In 1954, when nuclear power was commercialized in the United States, it was conceived to have a closed fuel cycle. In the United States, the historical politics of nuclear waste can be summarized by seemingly entrenched patterns: strong, centralized federal control narrowing of options over time and ultimately, vacillation of political will. But in that time, we have seen tremendous progress in the area of nuclear with our advanced nuclear reactors… but without a solution on nuclear waste, I believe that we are less likely to realize our full potential there.” “We’re effectively in the same place when it comes to the back-end of the fuel cycle as when we introduced that legislation six years ago. These are much-needed investments focused on the front-end of the nuclear fuel cycle, which comprises the stages leading up to power production in a nuclear reactor, from uranium mining to fuel fabrication. In contrast, the back-end of the fuel cycle-the management, reuse, or recycling of spent nuclear fuel-has been largely ignored as a focal point for innovation in the industry.Īt a hearing last summer on NELA, Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska pointed out this imbalance: ![]() And on the horizon, congressional legislation-most notably the Nuclear Energy Leadership Act (NELA) and the Nuclear Energy Research and Development Act (NERDA)-further supports fuel cycle research and innovation. ![]() DOE’s Gateway for Accelerated Innovation in Nuclear (GAIN) Initiative is connecting private sector innovators with national lab resources to bring new fuel cycle technologies to commercial readiness. Key facilities at the Department of Energy’s (DOE) national laboratories, such as the Transient Reactor Test Facility and the now Versatile Test Reactor, provide testing capabilities to accelerate the development of new fuel concepts and reactor designs. In recent years, the US government has increased investment to support fuel cycle research, development, and deployment (RD&D) for existing as well as advanced nuclear reactors. This attention also creates an opportunity to reinvigorate innovation on back-end technologies that may prove to be the key to circumventing the longtime political impasse on nuclear waste. With scientific consensus building that nuclear power must play a significant role in mitigating climate change, there has been renewed focus on fuel design and fuel cycle research to support the next generation of nuclear technology. Innovation has always been a key tenet of the nuclear power industry. ![]() ![]() I encourage anyone looking to do the same to take the initiative and apply. ![]() ![]() The second active ingredient in Trifexis is Spinosad, which kills fleas at the adult stage. The other active ingredient in Sentinel is Lufenuron, which is a pest growth inhibitor that works to kill flea eggs and larvae. Active ingredient - As mentioned above, these medications share one active ingredient (Milbemycin Oxime) in common.Sentinel should begin killing flea eggs and larvae immediately, while Trifexis will take slightly longer to start killing adult fleas at around half an hour. Therefore, the speed of action difference lies in their flea treatment. Speed of action - These two products are both preventative treatments for heartworm and they share an active ingredient that achieves this aim.It is worth pointing out that flea eggs and larvae are generally considered more difficult to kill than adult fleas. Their approaches target opposite ends of the life cycle. Trifexis does just the opposite, killing adult fleas but not their eggs or larvae. Sentinel kills flea eggs and larvae, preventing them from hatching or developing. Flea treatment - While both of these medications treat certain aspects of flea infestation, they do so by targeting different points of the flea life cycle. We will discuss some of the most important ones here to help give you a better idea of where the biggest inconsistencies between these two treatments lie. Though there are plenty of similarities between Sentinel and Trifexis, they have quite a few differences as well. Neither of these treatments can cure adult heartworms, and they use the same active ingredient (Milbemycin Oxim e ) as the main vehicle to prevent your dog from picking up heartworm disease. Both medications are once-monthly chewable tablet treatments that will prevent your dog from contracting heartworm disease, as well as other common parasites like roundworm, hookworm, and whipworm. The basic aims of Sentinel and Trifexis are quite similar, as are their methods of achieving those goals. Read on for detailed information about both of these products!
